Your name: Sabrina
Age: 18

Past Experience: I've rped for four years, and joined the G&G back when it was on the HP boards shortly after I began rping.
CHARACTER
Name: Marshall
Age: 19
Parents: Eris and Dionysus
Title: God of Insanity or Madness...if that's alright.
Side: He's neutral teetering on the edge of evil.
Personality:
Marshall tries to keep a positive outlook on life, he really does. Even when life hits him the wrong way, he tries to make a joke out of it at first. Sometimes it's painfully obvious that he doesn't find the situation funny at all, and is only trying to fake a good mood.
As far as his relations with other people, Marshall is not one to open up easily. He suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, and therefore has been lead to believe that people have ulterior motives. It's hard for him to give eye contact to people because he's afraid that his eyes will give away too much information about him. There are only a few people that he truly trusts, and one of them is a hallucination by the name of Chelsea Simmons.
It takes a lot to rile it up, but once he is riled off, he won't hesitate to do some pretty violent things. So watch out.
Physical Description and PB: Marshall has short brown hair and big blue eyes. He's at a relatively average height for a male, at 5'10". He's pretty skinny as well. The PB will be Stephan Bender.
Character History:
Marshall is the eldest son of Eris and Dionysus. Odd match, but hey, this is mythology. It happens. Marshall's childhood was like that of any other immortal child. Once he hit the age of 11, he began to take classes at the Mount Olympus School For the Immortal. It was here that he began to sink into his own version of madness (kind of ironic considering what God he is). He recently graduated and has gone on to Divinity University, where he is currently a freshman. To this day, his perception of reality is still very twisted.
As for his views on the war, his father remained neutral and his mother decided to go for the 'evil side'. His father made it clear that he would appreciate it if his son followed in his footsteps, which Marshall is doing. However, he is his mother's son, and the evil side is starting to look more and more tempting to young Marshall.
RP Example: (Recycled, which I hope is alright)
"Andrea Rose Watson! Hurry up and get downstairs or we're going to be late!"
Andrea had actually gotten up early this morning. Not super early, but early enough that she should have been ready by this point. And she was ready, except for one thing: She was checking her bags to make sure that she packed everything she needed. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if she climbed onto the Hogwarts train only to find out that she'd forgotten something she needed.
...nevermind that this was her 5th time checking through her luggage.
"ANDREA! GET DOWN HERE NOW!"
Obviously, her father was getting a bit impatient. Andrea sighed and closed up her bags, picking them up and heading toward the door. As she did this, she turned around and scanned her room quickly, making sure that everything was where she wanted it to be. That's when she noticed that a vase on her dresser was out of place. She raced across the room and arranged it exactly where she wanted to be. Then she finally headed down the stairs, where she met up with her parents and her two younger siblings.
"It's about bloody time. Now let's go."
Came the reply from her father. Andrea bit her lip to keep from laughing. Then the family headed through the door, and into a car rented out by the Ministry. Fortunately, the family didn't live too far from the train station, so the ride only took ten minutes or so. Which was wonderful, because Andrea wasn't a fan of long car rides.
She and her brother climbed out of the car, saying goodbye to their parents and younger sister. Andrea was going into her final year of Hogwarts, while her brother was going into his 3rd. Their younger sister wasn't going to start until next year, and was clearly upset about being the only one left behind. Andrea watched as the car drove off, her younger sister clearly throwing a fit about being left behind.
Then Andrea and her brother climbed onto the train. Almost instantly, her brother headed in one direction, and she headed in the other. She looked through compartments, seeing if she could spot any of her friends. Maybe they were on the other side of the train, where her brother was. Oh well. Who said that she had to ride on the train with her friends? Sure, it would be a lot easier, but the train was bound to take off at any minute, and Andrea wanted to be seated when that happened.
Soon, she found a compartment with only one other person in it. She went to reach for the door, when suddenly her eyes widened. She'd forgotten to wear her gloves! And there was no way she was touching that door without her gloves. She bit her lip in frustration, wondering what to do next. Then the corner of her lips turned up into a smirk as an idea came to her. She took the sleeve of her robe and put it over her hand, opening the door as she did this. Perfect! Now she didn't even have to touch the door.
She went to close the door behind her, but had a strange method to doing this (but then, she had strange methods for a lot of things, as you may have noticed). Instead of just sliding the door closed and leaving it like most people, she slid it closed, then opened it again, then closed it again, then opened it again, then closed it again. Three times. She even counted this mentally. Then she sighed and headed over to where the other girl was sitting, and plopped down next to her.
"Uh, hey. Hope you don't mind if I sit here."
She grinned as friendly as she could. She felt a bit self-conscious, and found herself wishing that she could find one of her friends. Or her brother. That would make her feel much more at ease.
